I’m Tara, also known as Xtara. My artist name, Xtara, reflects my evolution over the years and the various forms my artwork has taken.

In addition to being an artist, I’m a soul-searching, nature-loving yogi who adores children and animals. I was born and raised in Colorado but have since moved to the beautiful state of Arkansas. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Art from Colorado State University, Pueblo, and have embraced the art lifestyle ever since.

Moreover, I previously owned and ran an embroidery and printing shop, which has provided me with in-depth knowledge of embroidery, screen printing, and direct-to-garment printing techniques.

I often joke that I'm just a girl on a journey to discover my true niche.
